The four astronauts assigned to NASA's SpaceX Crew-13 mission are scheduled to arrive at Kennedy Space Center in Florida at approximately 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Sept. 26, to begin their final days of launch preparations.
Flying in from NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, the crew members will deliver brief remarks and answer questions from reporters before proceeding to the Astronaut Crew Quarters at Kennedy.
The mission brings together crew members from three partner space agencies: Commander Jessica Watkins and Pilot Luke Delaney of NASA, Mission Specialist Joshua Kutryk of the Canadian Space Agency, and Mission Specialist Sergey Teteryatnikov of Roscosmos.
During their stay at Kennedy Space Center, the crew will complete preflight operations including suit checks, equipment reviews, and mission briefings, while continuing quarantine protocols.
Launch to the International Space Station is targeted for no earlier than 11:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.
